Chest is measured flat from armpit to armpit. To find the full chest circumference, multiply these measurement by two.
Lay the garment flat on a smooth surface. Measure straight across the chest from one armpit seam to the other. This is the flat chest measurement. To determine the full chest circumference, multiply this number by two.

Looks Good and Accurate sizing
This tank is really nice. The material is semi-slinky like a nice light track-and-field uniform top. Definitely got some compliments on first wear! The size guide was absolutely accurate. This cut in particular is good for an athletic frame (wider shoulders and smaller waist) because it doesn't flare out at the bottom and it isn't too long in length.
